The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) notifies domestic tariff slabs annually. Below are the complete rates for protected and non-protected consumers effective from July 2025 - June 2026.

Important: Protected consumers are those using โค200 units/month. Crossing 200 units in any month makes you non-protected for that billing cycle.
๐งพ Components of Your Electricity Bill
- Energy Charges: Based on slab rate ร units
- Fixed Charges: Monthly capacity charge (Rs 200-400)
- GST (18%): Applied on total of energy + fixed charges
- Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA): Monthly variable surcharge based on fuel prices
- Neelum-Jhelum Surcharge: Rs 0.50-1.00 per unit
- TV License Fee: Rs 35/month (if applicable)
๐ FCA (Fuel Cost Adjustment) Explained
FCA is added to every bill when global fuel (oil, gas, coal) prices rise. It can be positive or negative. In 2025-26, average FCA is around Rs 2.5-3.5 per unit. Our calculator does not include FCA automatically โ check your DISCO's monthly notification for exact FCA.
